| While surfing the Internet for info on Recycling, my mom found a link to some startling information. The next day, she told me to check it out. The subject: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch. I was shocked and almost embarrassed due to the fact that humans allowed this to happen!!! Here are some facts about the Patch: *It's said to be twice the size of Texas *It's 90 feet deep *It contains 3.5 million tons of trash, with 90% of it being plastic items!
